    That is interesting data Marshall; what is it from exactly and is there more BD rifle data ?

    Blue Dot in the .30-30 for reduced loads only. Trying to get full hunting velocity with it leads to unnecessarily high peak pressure. Not that I don't like Blue Dot, I use it in a variety of pistol and small rifle cartridges.

    It's from the 2002 Annual guide that Alliant put out . This one was a couple of years old when picked it up in a gun shop . That's the only one that had section of silhouette loads . Here the front of it . I just looked again and that was all the BD rifle data listed . The only thing their newer guides had was Cowboy Action loads with American Select powder added . The Gun shop I was in was only an Hr from Alliants plant in Radford Va.
