NOE .460 186gr PB Collar Button Boolit?

I want to try a collar button boolit in my Ruger #3 .45-70 and am leaning towards the NOE 460-186-CB. Does anyone have experience with this boolit? What other other collar button molds are recommended for the .45-70? Seems like they would be a lot of fun in the #3.
    Thanks in advance!

    There are options!

Lyman made the original 457130 collar button mould and they are still available:

    https://ochocos.com/products/lyman%E...ton-round-nose

    And Mihec makes a copy:

    https://www.mp-molds.com/product/mp-...-cav-aluminum/

Both the NOE and Mihec moulds are available in multi cavity and both are excellent quality moulds. Iown both brands of moulds but not this one.

No personal experience with this boolit but if I get another .45-70 I will be getting a Mihec collar button mould for plinking and light loads.

They are a hoot to shoot out to 100yds.
Low powder usage and no recoil.
    Will ring a gong good.

    Oh and pest control!
    It will smack them hard.

Mine is a NOE and a pure joy to cast with.

I use a Walt made NEI 150 gr. mold. Easy to cast and alot of fun to shoot.
You might want to try different boolits before you get a mold.

There is no problem so great, that it cannot be solved by the proper application of high explosives.
