Off topic and politics sub-forum

I cannot always find the sub-forum.

I am I the only one that inept?

Nope, every once in a while they disappear on me, not so much at home but from my PC at work they don't always show up.

I noticed they are there if you are logged in, but missing if you are not. I don't always log in when I'm on the site.

I remember a member who complained about the Pit and a Moderator offered to shut it off for just him so it is optional at some level.

I see this in the hometown section but can't find a way to access it, and I am logged in. I guess I am inept also!

I noticed this condition also some years back. When I finally did find the 'Pit' some time later I 'bookmarked' the page. Mods were no help when I inquired about this same issue. Makes no difference whether I am logged in or not - sometimes it's there at the bottom and sometimes not...

The "Pit" section has always been at the bottom of the forum page.
Like I mentioned earlier, you have to be logged in in order to access of view posts in the "Pit" section.

You have to have 30 meaningful posts AND be a member for 30 days before the Pit will open for you.

If 30 meaningful posts were a requirement it would be a sub-sub forum.

A meaningful post means it's not "me too", or "I agree" or trolling type of post but rather contributes to the discussion presents by the OP. In other words about 90% of the posts we get.

I always see the pit when signed in but I have seen others complain of the same , sometimes I wonder if some browsers may not show it ?
