I bought these at Bi-Mart (large Pacific Northwest got-almost-everything chain of stores) two days ago. Yes, ammo is coming back big-- better stock up for next time. Anyway, I never encountered packaging like this before. It's from Serbia. Seemed fairly reasonable at $10.97 a box. Other than being kind of gimmicky I can't see any advantage to these boxes at all. You can see that there are loaded cartridges in the box through the clear plastic on one side. You open the box by pushing in on a little tab at one corner of the base and pulling upward on the top. The cartridges are then sitting in two rows of plastic fingers, and if you happen to knock the box over you'll be trying to find the contents, as they're held in very loosely. The boxes are reusable, and I guess an advantage might be that if you stored the fired brass back in the same box you could then see that they were fired. I think I prefer the old cardboard boxes or a MTM box. The ammo looks to be high quality.
