WTS Colt New Service, 38/40 WCF caliber

WTS the following:
COLT NEW SERVICE revolver, 38/40 WCF caliber. 4&1/2 " barrel. Mechanics good, locks up tight. Bore has good rifling, some pitting. I have fired it and it shoots good.
Finish is patina some minor pit spots. It is a solid shooter. Replacement FRANZITE grips. Just what you need to go with your Winchester model 92 in 38 WCF. Will include 50 pieces of brass & bullets for reloading. Was $600 now $550 plus shipping.

C&R eligible where permitted. 01 or better FFL copy needed from other states.

It looks like it's got the VP proof on the side of the trigger guard, and a straight barrel, I think that puts it between about 1906 and 1912-14. The serial number would be needed for the exact date.
