I powder coat water quenched WW 44 bullets with no problems. has anyone PC'd pure, dead soft 44 mag bullets and loaded them fairly hot, without leading issues or any other problems?
thanks

I know you can get it up to 24,000psi w/o much of a problem.

Above that?
Haven't tried.
I have certainly done it in .357 magnum and .45 Colt. Not sure why you couldn't do it in everyone's favorite .42 magnum.
I do it in a cva scout with 50/50 lead and WW up to 1700 fps. Accuracy is about the same as anything else. That's with a GC 320 gr WLFN.
If you are water quenching and then powder coating you are probably pretty well annealing them in the process.
Load BHN 8-9 under a full load of H110 plain base and powder coated in 44 magnum with no problems.
