    Bullet Master mould knocker problem

Yesterday when casting with my BM I noticed increased air usage. A closer inspection concluded that there were no leak from the air hose. It seems that there's a lot more exhaust from the exhaust port from the cylinder. It looks like the operation is as before but it uses a lot more air, and the compressor runs a lot more.

What's cause of this? Any sollusion without changing the air cylinder, or do I have to get a new one?

Anyone with experience of pneumatics, feel free to share!

Sounds like leaking seal inside of the pneumatic cylinder. The seals can be replaced, depending on availability and if it would be cost effective versus replacing cylinder.

I got the problem solved. It was the part holding the o-ring inside the sylinder body that was broken.

Lyckily I had some old sylinders laying around so I could teplace the part.

I'm glad I never throw away old parts. Some day you may get to use them, I did.

Now the machine is running great again.
