    So Much Fun

OK Sorry for not posting for a few weeks

    I have had 3 problems
2 are sort of taken care of for now

#1 is the problem that is sort of taken care of
The county workers have been mowing ditches
Well they also wowed off or drove over several of the road side phone junction boxes
These are about 8" x 8" x 2 feet high and made of plastic
Well a connection in one of the junction boxes that was just drove over failed
And that connection was for me

Frontier sent crews out to fix the mower off junction boxes
But the local repair person for Frontier went on vacation for 2 weeks about the same time
I guess just a few more of us with no phone or internet was not a problem
So it took over 2 weeks to ger my phone and internet back

As soon as I can I am dumping Frontier
So I will also get rid of my phone land line and just use my cell phone
I am also changing to wireless internet
As I was told it is faster and now cheaper

#2 The other FUN thing I have been dealing with is Migraines
The last 3 weeks they have been almost constant
But Thursday I had a BUNCH of shots of Botox
Today I am still had a migraine
But it only lasted 4 hours and the pain meds have dulled the pain for the most part

#3 Is the problem that still needs some work
Pain Management from Ohio Workman's Comp sent me to be seen by Cleveland Clinic
World class Doctors I was told
OK GREAT , DO YOUR PAPER WORK and submit it to Ohio Workman's Comp
First visit was over 7 months ago
The ordered tests , Meds and Rehab
After several phone calls and over a month the paper work for the rehab was submitted
That helped a lot , but the rehab was just step 1
The paper work for the tests and meds have still not been finished and submitted to Ohio Workman's Comp
So the doctor gave me a great Song And Dance and tried to get me to pay for the previous visits and meds with my personal insurance
No . Not going to happen
Besides 1 med they want me to take would ONLY cost me $900 a month after insurance

I was told Cleveland Clinic is BAD for not filling out and submitting paperwork to Ohio Workman's Comp
My Lawyer told me she might be able to "Help" , but that is a last step
But I just want them to do their paperwork

    John
Yea, thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
And I carry a LOADED Hell Cat

Do it. It's always better to negotiate from the top down.
You're dealing with people that have no motivation to do their job.

I had the same problem with our property tax people this year.
I had a dispute. Played by the rules, arrived at a deal I could live with, all within their time frame.

I waited for the final paper to sign off on, and never got it. In four weeks, with deadlines approaching
that without the sign off, there was no deal and I'd probably be told,
"Sorry, it's too late. You should have gotten that done before now".

After 2 phone calls per week that only go to voicemail, and 3 emails each week that went unanswered---
I called and got through to the elected head of the appraisal dist. and told him my tale of woe.............

I had my documents within the hour.

OK People. Enough of this idle chit-chat.
This ain't your Grandma's sewing circle.

Your county workers sound a lot like ours. One day I stepped out of my shop to take a break and watched them go by mowing the side of the road back, About the time they got down to the corner of the road intersection, I heard a terrible racket. I waited and then drove down in the truck to see what they hit. Didn't take long to find out . . . . they had literally mowed over on of their own signs that was mounted on two steel posts. Duh! I'll bet that really helped to keep the blades sharp . . . and it wasn't like the sign wasn't visible. I called and talked with a road commissioner and he wasn't a happy camper . . . he evidently had already had three calls from irritated residents where the had mowed off their mail boxes. I couldn't help myself . . . . I asked him if they had hired Helen Keller to do their mowing.

Frontier sucks. We are waiting for Starlink to be available. Might want to see if they are available for you. The only thing I have found that works for my migraines is Excedrin Migraine. Yup, over the counter works better FOR ME than any rx or shots did. Of course requires laying down, in a dark room with a fan blowing on me. Let your attorney handle the pain management idiots. I hate having to go through mine every month just to get my prescription. Ridiculous. Good luck.

My sister worked for the Fed. She told me she was glad her boss decided to take his 30 day annual vacation so she could catch up on her 6 month backlog of paperwork. She was proud to say that when she retired (and she did) there wasn't anybody that could fill her job. Sure!
