    20 ga ball loads

Just for fun I duplicated my trade gun ball load - 80gr FFg, 1/8" hard card, lubed cushion wad and a .600" ball in Federal shells for my Stevens 94. First I made sure the ball would fall through the choke. I tried them a few days ago at 50 yards, and they grouped into 2 inches and right where the front bead is. Good enough! I think I'll have a few in my pocket during deer season. This load fills the case completely and leaves just enough for a nice roll crimp.

Gotta love what you can do with blackpowder in shotgun loads.I have a Stevens 94 with full choke and it has seen alot of blackpowder action, and easy to clean too.I use Federal topgun paper basewad hulls ,lot more room for powder

Yep, same hulls and same gun as you. I'm quite fond of it.
