Not a 270 but i did buy a NOE mold to try some cast in my 6.8spc. With Hi-tek, horrible accuracy. With PC, decent 100y sub 3” groups. I think a harder alloy would give better accuracy at 2000fps.

I am just now starting to PC rifle boolits, I use one of those silicone ice cube trays that you can get off the internet that makes 3/8" ice cubes. You can stand up the boolits in the trays when you heat them and the silicone does not mar the PC. At least it didn't for the 308 boolits I did. Good luck and let us know how you do.
