Pops has left the ranch.... He passed early Sunday morning peacefully in his sleep. He's battled COPD and CHF for a few years, but had held up pretty well, we thought. He was a stubborn bastard, but the best father a guy could have ever had. Not at all surprised that he rode off while sitting up in his bed watching a bad western.....that's just his style, and I hope for all of us we get to go the same way. Always the provider, always pure love, and never wanted to burden a single soul...

Rest in Peace, Pops.... I love ya, dick. (No...his name isn't Richard, just a term of 'endearment' between us.... )

Tough loosing a Dad, I know how you feel after loosing mine a few years back. Like yours, my Dad was a super guy, great father and husband, always there and never missed a ball game I played in..God is with you during this time, my prayers as well.
