    I ship them to him via USPS. Most times I print the label at home and request package pickup services. For guns I'll leave the box inside the front door and either my wife or I will hand it to the mail carrier.

    I sent mine USPS and got it back the same way. I had one of the boxes that Palmetto State Armory uses to ship AR15 uppers in. I carefully reduced the length of the box to suit the marlin 336. Got there Ok and got back OK. I did set my box up to ship the rifle with the buttstock removed. I just verbally told USPS that there was a gun in the box, no issues there.
