I suppose it is time for an update. While in Nashville, I was rushed to Tristar Centennial Medical Center. I was treated for heat exhaustion and syncope, with my blood pressure down to 90 over 61. After spending two days alone in my hotel room recovering I went home Monday thinking I was fine and feeling normal. By Friday, I was back in the ER after passing out in my air conditioned house sitting on my office chair. I will be on bed rest for a while.

This is second time around for him. They almost lost him some 2-3 years back.
This is my wife Cindy's little brother. I wouldn't ask for me. But she asked.

No news, no improvement, no change. He has an appointment on Wed. Just got off the phone with his wife and she is scared.

Father, I come to You because You alone can help Larry recover from his medical emergency. Father, please whisper into his physicians ears the correct path to go down to accurately diagnosis his real problem and setup a path for his recovery. AMEN

Update: I haven't had a bad episode in about 24 hours now. I've been walking, avoiding heat, and laying in bed way more than I can tolerate. I'm just wobbly and full of insecurity. I have a doctor follow-up on Wednesday. Thank you all for the blessing of your thoughts.

I am concerned if he is going to be well enough to teach music this fall. He already has a full plate with a wife with MS (Thankfully in remission) And a daughter in College who does not really understand WHO she is or what she wants to be. She is not close to her mother at all. Has perhaps too close a connection to her dad. If we lose him I suspect it could send Katherine into a tailspin. She is currently Attending Brookings Univerisity. Has already been on suicde watch once.

But I am fatalist enough to accept that this will play out as our LORD intends.

Larrys mother is also in Brookings in late 80's, her husband is dead to covid and Parkinson's. Barbara is very much alone, and her closet child Larry does not seem to make an effort to stay in touch.

If we loose Larry I could see 2 more funerals in quick sussions. His Mother Barbara and his daughter Katherine.

All prayers gratefully accepted.

Cindy and I am coming to terms with this. It won't hit us as hard. As Larry has mostly been wrapped up in his personal life for the last 15 years.

Again many thanks for all those who have prayed. What will be will be.
