    Cast loads - Winchester 244 and 572

Has anyone tested Winchester’s 244 and 572 with 38/357 cast bullets? Any velocities to share? Appreciate any real world experience with these relatively new powders. I did check the on-line factory reloading data but it provides meaningless velocities with a 10 inch test barrel and only one cast bullet type.

Check the online data again. I just looked and there was a lot of cast data over a range of bullet weights.

…but using a 10 inch test barrel doesn’t tell you much for real world velocities. I’m looking for actual chronographed velocities and general experiences with 572 or 244 before deciding to take the leap to buy the powder.

Watch the OAL, seating deeper will increase pressure and velocity (more 244 results).
