    A good fathers day!

Got to spend the day with my oldest at our range. She wanted to shoot bench rifles and her AR. Her eyes are so much better than mine that she regularly out shoots me. None the less it is fun talking and shooting with her. All shots with 12-14 mph winds variable at about 3 o'clock shooter relative.

Then when we got home... my youngest had made a homemade cherry pie and a couple of tins of cherry tarts. OMG they were good! My awesome wife of 37 years made beef and venison steaks on the grill as well. Felt like a hog in heaven!

Could not agree more... she will be 20 this fall and still loves spending time with "daddy". It is almost funny, her local buddies get after her all the time for calling me daddy and are just amazed at her shooting abilities. She is only 5'3" and has XS sized hands, but loves shooting my 1911's would be a dangerous adversary. But, put an AR in her hands and steel plates at 300 yards do not stand a chance.

It's a wonderful thing to have a daughter like that. I have three girls, the oldest is forty. When we are together we usually go to the range for some shooting fun.

You are very lucky. My girl still calls me Daddy but wants nothing to do with guns. Oh well.

I picked up my oldest son and went to the Cast Bullet Assn. military nationals. Temp was 100, with wind in the 30's, and we both shot poorly, but still had a lot of fun.

I too am very fortunate to have daughters who enjoy shooting. All received their first gun from me and all have their CCW. 2 of the girls came over for Father’s Day - one has 2 daughters and a boy on the way and the other has a girl on the way. The last daughter who lives in KCMO called to wish me HFD. Life is good.

Not on father's day, but a few days before. I got to spend almost 2 days working on a central a/c with my 17 yr old granddaughter. She wants to learn all the stuff I do. Cleaned the coils, replaced the start capacitor, added refrigerant, and the unit is working great now.
