Current Used Worth of a Mec JR Mark V

Found a used Mark V in 12ga. but I'd need to change it to 20ga. requiring a $176 die set from Mec. I have a 12ga. so I could make sense of converting if the $ was reasonable and condition good. What are these reloaders currently going for? I suspect $50 for a used Mark V is pre-FJB history.

The two bottles are expensive to replace. Recent ebay prices for a Mark V in 12ga in good or better condition is between $65 and $180. Most were between $150 and $175. Those prices are before tax and shipping.

I've seen some MEC's at garage sales for decent prices.

Check your local flea markets and swap meets. I see 12 and 20 all the time complete for $50 or less ($25 is normal). But, I need a .410 bore model now.

I normally find mec 600jrs between $50 and $175 the cheaper ones are always missing a few parts. More expensive one come with extras. I just got a lot on ebay that is a cannibalized mec 500 and a mec grabber cheap. I'll just have to assemble everything and hope I have any missing parts (which shouldn't be a problem for me).
Ask here if anyone is willing to trade your 12g conversion for a 20g conversion. Normally I would assist but I'm out of town and I don't think I have an extra full 20g conversion

People want crazy money for any mec in 410

Guy just emailed me, has an Hornady Apex 3.1 in 12ga. too. Both presses for $250, makes no sense since the cost to convert to 20 exceeds the need. Thanks for the comments.

Soda bottles fit them by the way so if missing no big deal

Used all there 30-50 is a fair bargain. But 410 double it and be happy IMHO
