I have a poor old mold that has no screws or the sprue plate, it is an old one with no vent lines. The single cavity looks pretty good, oddly this is solid base and all listing I've seen for this design are hollow base. The rebuild mold kits from Lyman don't fit this older, smaller block. I think the sprue plate could be modified to work just by grinding the tab where it contact the post but wonder if it is worth trying to rescue this old timer.
Get and OLD 38 special Ideal mould and harvest the parts
