    Browning Silver

    Anybody here worked on one? Grandson’s won’t extract shell all the way before another popsout of magazine. Cleaned it thoroughly but no love. Thanks

    Change out the extractor or extractor spring

    Tell us more about this specific model, there is more than one variation

    Field, Slug, ?? 12 or 20?

    Hunter. Further examination turned up a looseness in the brass band half way up the magazine. I picked it a bit and it came off. Underneath was what seemed to me an irregular hole in the magazine tube. Looks like it may be eaten away by gas or perhaps it’s supposed to be there. The extractor seems fine and is pulling the hull back, just not enough to eject. Gas ports and gas action cleaned thoroughly.
