'91 Argies are great rifles. I have several, and every time I handle one I admire the old time craftsmanship that went into their manufacture. Excellent deer cartridge. I bet that one kicks a bit?

    great choice!!!!

i have three sporterized rifles (two 91 argie rifles and one carbine). in my rifles i shoot a .312" lee 185gr r and in my carbine i shoot a .313" saeco 180gr fn gc. i don't have scopes on them, but i got a Lyman aperture sight on one of the rifles.

they do "kick" a bit!!! right now on the Lyman aperture, i'm using 10-12.0gr of unique, i have to see if they group, then i'll pick one.

When i got it it had a plastic marlin butplate on it . I removed it and put a recoil pad that doesn’t fit the greatest but helps with the recoil and makes the length of pull longer since i have long arms it fits me just right . Fbc

Gabe one with the issue military stock. I call it "thumper" with the PPU 7.65x53mm ammo. Frank
