    lyman dies

    Does anyone know what the letters and numbers on the end panel of a set of lyman dies means?

    I am looking at purchasing a set of dies that reads 45 colt DLX XII 7549104 I have been told were carbide dies, but lyman told me they put the letters tc for tungsten carbide
    after the word lyman on the sizing die, and can get no response from seller.

    not sure I want the steel dies. already have a set of those.

    If the seller won't tell you, or send a picture showing the inside of the sizer die--
    carbide dies have a visible ring at the inside of the base, I'd keep shopping..
