Saeco 353 Mold - 180 grain boolits for .357 Mag

Has anyone used the Saeco 353 mold? I’m wondering how that heavy boolit would perform in a 3” .357 Mag revolver. I currently use an NOE-360-160-WFN.

I had the gas check version (whatever number that may be) but they also make, or at least made this design in a plainbase version. My notes indicate good accuracy with #2400 powder using the gas check bullet, not so good accuracy with #296. In linotype, bullets weighed 170 grains with gas check.

I got very good accuracy with the #354 gas check version of the 353 from several 357 mag pistols & rifles

I know it is a hoot to load a fairky soft #353 in .38 Spl cases over 2.7gr of 700X then shoot them from a 22" .357 Max Handi. Rifle.
