TbG ~ My sincere condolences. Your description of your Dad reminds me so much of my Dad. Born in NE Oklahoma in 1915, he had the experiences and qualities you saw in your Dad. Right now it may be of little comfort as pain always seems to flood over the moment, but I can tell you that the pride, respect, and love I found in my Dad has made a sweet memory for me. I miss him everyday, as I know you will, too, but now over the years his memory brings me only warm thoughts and deeply felt love. Prayers & thoughts. 725

Thomas I was so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He sounds so much like my dad, who we lost in 2015. Not a day goes by I don’t think about him. Lot’s of wonderful memories and words of wisdom that seem wiser as time passes. Your dad is with our lord and savior in a much better place, and my friend he will always be with you. God bless you and yours!!

He is gone, but a good part of him is still alive in you. You are a lucky guy.
