Cu GC and Smokes clear PC here. Wt is also right at 140 when all dressed up.

Good loads with this boolit in a 7.62x39 AR upper include
    20.0/IMR 4198
    19.0/VV N120

Very versatile boolit (think 300 Ham'r and 7.62x40WT).

    Keep posting your test results!

I have some clear PC as well. Just haven’t used it yet.
I’m about to load up more of the same load as above at .309”, as well as some sized .312.”
I will be testing these in my KAK .311” barrel.

I have several other thirty. Al’s I can envision these bullets working well in. I’m also going to try heat treating at 450 for an hour and water quenching to harden for higher speeds. I will probably have to tumble lube Since doing powder coat would negate the heat treating. I’m wondering since we do the powder coating at 450° for 20 minutes, what would happen to the powder coating yes left in there for the full hour and then water quenched? Do you think the powder coating would burn or possibly run off the bullet?

Somewhere in the threads on heat treating and/or PC techniques is a chart that shows that a non-heat treated boolit which is PC'd and dump in water coming out of the oven will attain and maintain better than if the boolit had been heat treated to begin with. Maybe someone remembers where that is. I have no first hand experience with it. I PC and air cool and have acceptable results. Alloy matters, too.
