I recently found my old prowley computer for handloaders. Is it still aplicable for reloading today? Most of the powders it mentions are no longer being made.

I got that old computer from a course in gunsmithing from North American correspondence course back in the 1980s
Still have mine. Its basically a curio now. FYI Mine's a Powley PSI Calculator. Made by Homer Powley
Mine's dated 1965 and looks like it was purchased yesterday. It came with a load sheet for various calibers using common IMR powders. With Hutton Rifle Ranch Product listed as publisher.
Guns and Ammo gave it a prominent article look back in 2018.

“You should tell someone what you know. There should be a history, so that men can learn from it.
He smiled. “Men do not learn from history. Each generation believes itself brighter than the last, each believes it can survive the mistakes of the older ones. Each discovers each old thing and they throw up their hands and say ‘See! Look what I have found! Look upon what I know!’ And each believes it is something new.
