    WTB/WTT .452" boolets, heavier than 252gr.

Trying to get a Uberti Colt clone to shoot to the sights. I'm almost there with 252gr over 5grs Red Dot but need to bring point of impact up a bit more.

I can buy them or I have quite a range of other cast boolits as well as 9mm & 40 S&W brass to trade. Don't need a lot, 20-25 should do nicely.

What is your maximum C.O.L.? I have some 280 WFN, but they load a little long.
Due to the price of primers, warning shots will no longer be given!

I just checked and my C.O.L. for these is 1.685”. This includes the rim. I don’t know if you can make these work, but if you pm me your address, I will be happy to send you a few. They are powdercoated and sized to .452”

I can always trim a bit off a few cases if I need to.

If you have a slower powder like Unique, HS6 or Herco, try that. Any of these should increase "dwell time" which would give the gun more time to recoil upwards, thus raising POI on the target.
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? Or just file the sight down and be done with it in 5 minutes.

That might be a little difficult since I already use a very loose grip!

Great idea except that it's not my gun.
