AUCTION: Rem 760 300 Savage 1st year prod

Up for auction Remington 760 300 Savage. YY date code, according to my references, 1st year production 1952.

Buttstock has a rubber pad installed, not original. Trigger pull length is 13". Not sure if shortened or not. Buttstock has repaired cracks at receiver and has been refinished. Overall not too bad of a job. Area of wrist repair could be a little better. Forearm appears to be original finish to me. Also have a tipoff scope mount I can include if buyer wishes.

Shipping will be $75. Shipped in a plastic hard case, fully insured for sold price, and shipped from my FFL to your FFL. If shipping ends up being cheaper I will reimburse the difference.

Auction will end June 5th at 22:00 EST. I can only make it to my FFL on Tuesdays so depending on when I receive payment it may take a week or 2 to get everything underway. Please be patient or if not do not bid. Due to my work schedule and my FFL schedule this is the only day I can drop anything off.

Auction starts at $3.00 USD. Payment accepted is personal check or USPS money order.

Thanks for bidding Budmen. They made the 300 Savage from 1952 to 1958 only I believe.

Unfortunately not in Montana. I'm in NY. The good cause is helping to fund a trip for my sons (hopefully) to the high school trap shooting nationals in July.

Free bump and a little incentive to bidders!. I just got done shooting my 300 savage 760. Middle of target was me moving it to to zero. the 2 groups top and bottom are two 5 shot groups at a 100 yd. Scope is old 4x B&L.Load is Lee Harris bullet (sized .310)and 14g 2400.
