    Area 419 precision reloading press

Anyone seen one of these? Any personal experience, is it worth the $1,279?

I can't see myself justifying the price unless I hit the lottery.

Gavintube channel for Ultimate Reloader did a very nice in depth on this a year or so ago. Great channel. I can't see spending that cash on it but if you have the money I suppose you could spend it on worse things. Seems like a Gucci Press to me for someone that just wants the best everything and there is nothing wrong with that.

Here is a video with a Company Rep

    And here is his review

Don't have the press, but do have their funnel set and a few other small things from them as does a buddy of mine. I was impressed with the quality of what I have seen and the way they do business. So, that is a good sign.

I have this press and like it very much for neck sizing, bullet seating and comparator work. I do not FL size anything so I cant comment on its power but I cant picture myself cranking on the handle. Lots of other press's for that.
The press does not cam over, this takes some getting used to as all my other press's give you that feeling of "i've reached full travel" but you get used to it.
It is very smooth and nicely finished for sure.
It was a 40th birthday gift from my wife otherwise I would never spend that kind of $$$ on a press. Check your local Scheels I think she got it for $1200.
Getting this press did make the decision a little easier to sell my Hollywood Senior turret to fund another project if that says anything about it.
I haven't done enough testing yet to determine if it has produced less runout then my Hollywood but that was usually around .001-.002
