For Thought and Meditation - Wednesday, May 25

Good morning all. Today's message gives great encouragement and, of course, the blessing. Have a safe and blessed day.

    Hagee Ministries

    1 Corinthians 11:24

and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you..."

Communion is a memorial meal that looks back to celebrate Christ’s victory on the cross and looks forward to the day when we drink anew with Him in His kingdom (Matthew 26:29).

Jesus celebrated Passover with His disciples the night before Calvary. In the same way that He broke the bread, His body would be cruelly shattered for us.

For us! He was bloodied and wounded, battered and pierced, bruised and crushed. Those 39 lashes that lacerated His back bought our healing, for “…by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). He took our suffering, weaknesses, sicknesses, and disease, and He carried them all away.

Christ gave us victory over sickness and disease. We can now lay hold of divine healing through His work on the cross. He is the Lord that heals us (Exodus 15:26).

Jesus gave sight to the blind, caused the lame to leap, opened up deaf ears, loosened mute tongues, healed long-term diseases, and even raised the dead. Our Savior is “the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). He will do for us what He did for those long-ago seekers.

As you take the communion wafer, remember and accept the healing that His sacrifice won. His body was broken for you.

    Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. He was hurt, so you can be healed. He was wounded, so you can be whole. He was punished, so you can find peace. Find healing in the Savior Who was broken for you.
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

    C: Christ's
    E: Expense
When guns are outlawed only criminals and the government will have them and at that time I will see very little difference in either!
