410 fury slugs

Just kinda threw these together brennekke 3" hulls double stacked stumpy wads, unknown primer and 14gr h110. Felt soft all 5 hit the 6" log I was aiming at from 25 yards. Only recovered 3. Great weight retention, now to find more appropriate wads and fine tune the load and my roll crimping. Using a bpi unit in a cheapo drill press as slow as it will go.

Shorten your wad stack slightly, with a little longer roll crimp and you won't contact slug with roll crimper. D

Also, chuck that crimper in a lathe, and cut a relief in it for slug clearance. (Or have someone do it for you.) If you're handy, you might be able to do it yourself in the drill press with a Dremel, but don't ruin your crimper!

Awesome! Thanks for posting this. I've never heard of this company. Just went ahead and ordered some .410 slugs along with some of thoe vicious 12ga 1-3/8oz slugs!

If someone knows of a good load for the 200 gr. ones Fury sells, would like to hear about it. I might be doing something wrong but all the ones I loaded turned sideways. Used an H110 load for 1/2oz. of shot, a cup wad over powder, an .070" nitro card, then a felt wad and a .135" nitro card and then the slug. Roll crimped. The case was a new Cheddite with a Win. 209 primer.
