    Bought a Smoker Tube

Wanted to try smoked ribs but didnt want to invest in a smoker. Ran across a smoker tube which is a stainless tube with lots of holes in it. Fill with pellets, light it up then blow out and smoke on a gas grill. Lasts about 4hrs.

First up smoked ribs using apple pellets. Came out great. Tried smoked ribeye steak but cut the smoke time to an hour then continued to internal 120 degrees and reverse sear in cast iron using butter, touch of Old Bay and garlic. Melt in your mouth and flavor excellent.
Couple weeks ago found bulk bacon $20 for a 10lb box. Smoking up a pound over 200 degrees for 2hrs or so.

Those smoke tubes work great and i got mine at WalMart.

Next time i think i will "cold smoke" the bacon for 3-4 hours. We will eat it on hamburgers, breakfast and crumble the rest over a garden salad

I bought the Amaz-N-Smoke also. Really works great for smoking cheese. Hard to keep temp below 90 degrees any other way. GW

The Amaz-N-Smoke extender tube is the bomb! I use it with my pellet grille, too! Extra smoke.

In the winter, COLD SMOKED CHEESES! Gotta try it!

The smaller wood chips work well in those tubes as well. I just shake/tamp em down. Clean flavor and don't have to buy a big bag of pellets to try different flavors.

I bought 2 of the smoke tubes. They sit idle now that I have a pellet grill. Perhaps one day I’ll need them again.

I use mine in the old smoke box - the fire box burned out - and use it to smoke nuts, cheese, salt, and anything that needs a cool smoke.
