Having done my share of Springfields back in the day, I'm quite familiar with 03A3s & they look nothing at all like a Rem 700 Barrel shank.
The thread pattern is 10 tpi square.
    the major dia is 1.040".
    The minor dia is .990".
    Barrel shank length is .734"
The end of the shank has a 41deg cone that the nose of the bolt fits into.
If you can find a copy of Frank Barnes' book Bolt Action Rifles, there is a very detailed drawing on page 304 that has all the answers you should need to rebarrel any 03. If I could get my head out of the up & locked mode, so I could remember how to post a picture, there would a copy of that drawing with this post.

Beechbum, if your interest goes cold because you cant just screw some take off barrel into that action; pass along the sellers information so the rest of us could have a look.
There’s numerous folks on here with the knowledge AND equipment to fit up a barrel to it.

It’s Bolt Action Rifles by Frank DeHaas. It’s a great reference for all things bolt action up to about 1980. The barrel shank drawings and dimensions are worth the price of the book. Assuming that a Remington military contract Springfield is the same as any other Remington marked gun can lead to some high order frustration.

The 03A3 was built to milspec as used for and on 03's, not Remington's. It's a square thread, not V style.

    Greetings,

Which of the 2,220,000 results is the one I want?

If possible, please post a link to the source.

    Cheers,

    Dave

Yes, the model and serial number of the action would be most helpful
