My RTI 42 Russian Berdan 2

As promised here is my Russian Berdan 2, this piece isn't pretty, however she's got history. I'll link a video to me cleaning the rifle, it was quite fun and a good learning experience.

This example was cutdown by the Ethiopians to a carbine, they only took like 2 inches off the front and moved the sight a tad and shortened the cleaning rod. The bore shows good rifling, a pal from a different forum and I bore scoped it and it looked pretty rusty, i reckon a few shots will blow most of it out and Ed's Red for cleaning will do the rest.

I have a post on the Cartridge Forming sub forum, it hasn't seen much traffic, of me trying to make cartridges for it.

Apologies if my pictures look messed up, I'm still new here.

Thanks for posting. I am keeping my eyes open for a Colt manufactured type I. What case did you use for a host?

Do you have an extra $7-10k for that? B1's are very rare and very expensive.

The Ethiopians added that rear sling swivel; the original rear swivel location was the front of the trigger guard.
Please post some images of the Ethiopian markings, thanks!
