    Primer for Black Powder loads

Does the primer matter for BP or pyrodex shotgun loads? The limited mount of pressure data I've seen for BP in a 12 gauge is all below 5000psi.

I'm asking because I have a bunch of FIO 616 magnums I took out of some primed hulls I bought from BPI, I'd like to use them for something and the data for them is pretty much nonexistent except for a few loads listed on BPI's website.

Also have a pound of Pyrodex RS I need a use for, sounds like they might make a nice combination.
