Miha STATUS of mold builds 21APR22

I hope this works... Miha sent me a video of all the progress he's making on molds, I'm going to try and share it here:

I asked that same question, well sort of in a round about way. Doesnt look too good, especially with all the issues with the Larsen-C432-250-RF.
    We can hope.....

He wrote me earlier this week and told me that 1 of the HP pins is taking 2 minutes on his new lathe. Here comes the math.... LOL There are typically 16 pins given with a 4-cav mold so there is 1 hour of machine-time in every mold JUST for the pins! That assumes all the pre-post work is contained in the 2 minutes... This will be a full-time operator on this machine, just making pins.

Now you still have to machine the rest of the mold...

On just one of my GB's for the pins on the 223, there were at least 70 orders for molds. Thats basically 2 weeks of making pins, and however long it takes to make the molds!

Now, I have 5 GB's that are overdue, plus the other honchos have GB's.

I can imagine this backlog will take several months to get out of.
