My newest acquisition, Walther LP 53

    I recently acquired a Walther LP 53
Nothing really special about it other than being a James Bond gun.
It seems it was used to shoot a famous promotional poster of Sean Connery holding one.
Now the things seem to be a bit of a collector's item.
A friend of mine gave it to me and said if I wanted, just give him what I wanted to pay for it.
I told him to me it would be worth no more than $50.00, but on Ebay to a collector it could bring as much as $300 as seems to be the going rate per Tom Gaylord.
My friend said he did not want to mess with it.
I said then $50.00 is, ok? He said absolutely!
So as soon as I see him and give him $50.00 it is mine!
The thing is a hoot to shoot.
It bounced off of a thin aluminum pop can, then I dripped a few drops of Crosman Pell lube in it and now it zips right through sides of the can.
