Anyone have a Nitro Hunter in 16ga?i'm wondering if a 16 gauge barrel will fit a 12 ga frame

The odds are against it. Even later more modern single shot shotguns like the H&R Topper and the Savage 94 didn't have interchangeable barrel capability. Occasionally it happens but mostly not.

A lot of companies built their 16s on 12 Ga frames, but mostly later on. I'm betting these were all caliber specific. Any body got one in 16they could measure?

    .

Even if they would go onto the frame, they would still probably need to be fitted, for safety.
