    Elementary Question About Argentine 1909

I just received an example of the above referenced rifle. It came with a muzzle cap of substantial construction. I managed to get it off without damaging anything but am not sure how to reinstall it. I will leave it off until I have at least shot it and cleaned it again But, knowing my propensity for putting things where I know I can find them again and never being able to find them, I'm thinking it would be better to reinstall it.

Is there a trick to getting this thing back in place?

As there are several different designs of muzzle caps/covers, a photo would help. Usually they have a springy finger that snaps over the front sight. Some are pushed on and then turned and lock behind the front sight.
