    Colt SP1 sling

    Hi all,

    Need some help here. Inherited an early 80's Colt SP1 w/Colt 2 position stock. Need to find a sling for it. My problem is, I have no idea what was original if there was one? Any ideas or source, please let me know.

    Going from memory, it was a black web sling with buckles. Not as a USGI web with the cam lock for adjustment, just a buckle.

    I had an SP1 and recall that, had a car 15 also but don't recall the sling or if it came with one, sorry.

    Yes, it was a terrible nylon web strap. Not much good at all. There are so many good aftermarket slings. This is a spot for an upgrade.

    Black nylon with two buckles was original accessory. If you want a military style upgrade go with one of the GI OD nylon ("seatbelt") style as used in Vietnam on M14s and early M16s.
