    mold id

    Have a brass mold with bullet profile with a little point under the bullet and rb .340". Any idea who made the mold? No markings.Click image for larger version.

    That is really Cool. Looks to be for one of those English cap-and-ball revolvers; Adams or Kerr or something.

    The boolits had a greased felt wad attached to the base, held on by that prong. You can sometimes see a few such assemblies in one of the compartments of the pistol boxes. You might check the British Militaria site for examples.
