    Finally Finished Traditions Kentucky Kit!!!

It has been a long time in the works. Life gets you busy but today was the day it all come together. This was my first muzzleloader kit but I'm not new to firearms. This kit took a lot of fitting and a lot of work to get everything to the standard that I wanted this rifle to be. I know it's not period correct and all but I changed out the rear sight for a Pedersoli ladder sight that I had laying around. So here it is!!

It is mountain forge cherry stock stain. I bought it off of Kiblers website.

Very nice! Is it a slow twist .45 cal? It looks like real cherry wood.

Looks great. Now go find out if it can shoot as good as it looks.

I hope it shoots good. I did look at my muzzleloading stuff. I only have about 25 caps. Those have gotten really hard to find around here.

Man you did a great job, I just finished the same rifle myself and used the cherry stain as well. I really like the way the cherry looks on these rifles.

Great job! I love the stain color. The redish color really shows off the brass. I did one with a "Sedona Red" stain and came out OK. Yours really jumps! I love it. Well done.

Have you had a chance to warm that little beauty up yet? Hope it shoots as good as it looks.
