WTB: sprue plate & screw for Ideal Mold 358425

    Hi,
I am looking for a two cavity sprue plate, the slotted head screw (10-36, I think) and washer to restore an older Ideal 358 425 mold.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

Midway has a two cavity rebuild kit with all those parts plus the two screws for the handles for $9.99.

    Hi,
I got a helpful PM with a link to an older thread.
I think my mold has the wider 0.550" sprue plate spacing and the 10-36 thread.
I checked the aforementioned Lyman mold rebuild kit. I guess the sprue plate would work, but nobody mentions the screw thread? Guessing it's the newer 10-32 thread...
    Thanks!

It is indeed a 10-32 thread. I just checked a new in package one i had in the drawer with a thread gauge.

The older Ideal moulds use a 10 x 36 tpi screw for holding down the sprue plate.
Get in touch with Eric at Hollowpoint.com. He had some made up just for those older moulds.
