    7.5x53.5(GP90) Martini and 32-40 Bullets

My Martini has a .295 bore and .307 groove. The throat is very large compared to the standard GP 90 chamber in 1889 Rifles. The throat starts at .328 and sort of tapers to groove diameter. My 1889 was .320 at chamber end.
I modified the rear band of a .322 dia mold to. 328.With this it easily breech seats and the initial (over the hood) shooting session at 50 yards shows promise.
Shooting a .020 oversize bullet goes with my theory that throat fit is more critical than bore dimensions.

The washer on the side of the mold while in the chuck had never occurred to me--thanks for the photo with the great idea, and Good Shooting!

Out today and shot it a bit more.i shot the .32 bullet breech seated at 50 yards and it did fine.i also shot an ideal stop ring #308277 that i enlarged rear band to .313(was .308) and the ring to .324(it was .319)
I shot two groups finger seated at 100 yards and showed promise.

    Very nice.
    Thankyou.
Never seen a 30 cal stop ring bullet.
    Very nice shooting.
Did you make the push in seater?
Does it hold the bullet in the case then use a plunger to final seat when the case is in the chamber?
I may have to play some more with a rifle I have.
