I purchased a quantity of 8X63 Swedish surplus belted ammo awhile ago . I pulled the bullets and did as much internet searchs as I could expecting the powder to be a slower burning type as it was pushing a heavy bullet . Must loaders who had tried it felt that it was closer to the middle being similar to maybe a slightly slow burning Varget rate . I have started my loading based on this assumption and have been very pleased with loads in both 22-250 and 243 Winchester . This powder was loaded in the 1930's and still works very well . This older powder does not appear to suffer from an early "best before" date.
