    WTB RCBS #12 Competition Extended Shell Holder

    Precision reloading shows the Redding #14 extended shell holder in stock. I got one from there about a month ago for reforming 22 Hornet to 17 Squirrel.
    The Redding shell holder will pass thru the 7/8th threaded collar on the press if you need it to do that. The 17 Squirrel case is only 0.990 inches long and shell holder has to go up in thru the threads of the collar to reach the sizing dies.

    For the Redding shell holder to work in the RCBS dies, the OD would need to be machined down its entire length.
    Been there, done that.

    I form 17 Squirrel also, I have the Redding extended shell holder but I have the short Redding Squirrel form dies and Redding regular dies.
