I believe they are for a French rifle, I think it's called a MAS 49, caliber 7.5 French.
Google for that info and you will be able to zero in on the details.
They are for a MAS 49.
If you don't have the rifle, or don't plan to get one, they're worth selling on ebay.

Thanks gentlemen! Maybe the French lebel, he had several of the rifles and lots of brass but this is all I have left of them.
