    Glaser lead bar

    Hi all,
This is my first post so forgive me if it’s in the wrong section. Does anyone know what this is? Where it would come from? I haven’t found any info on the web about it. Is this rested to ammo? I have no idea what it is other than a lead bar so any info would be appreciated. Thank you kindly

Edit: I cannot get the dang picture to upload, keep getting error messages

Hello, and welcome! Picture size might be why you can't get them to load on the website. When I was using a camera there was a setting called VGA I think that downsized the pictures for e-mail and downloading them to sites like this one and ebay and gunbroker. I now use my flip phone which only makes small pictures and those load without problems. As far as how to do reductions of size, I do not know how you would accomplish that but I do think it is something to look into.

Bingo! Looks like good lead. Does it seem soft , does it go thud when you drop it or is there some ring upon impact. My guess would be it is soft and pretty close to pure.

It seems soft. Got some fresh scratches on it from moving it around, and most definitely makes a thud. Are bars like this common?

looks like 5 times 5 pounders of lead for plumbing, or 25 pounds. very common. most cities would have some supplier who's name is cast in.

ps seller always mention it is collectable---I have yet to see any one with a collection of lead ingots-- that were not intended to be used as boolits.
