    WTB Empty Varget Jugs WTB

I’m looking for 4 empty 1lb jugs of Varget. Could all so use a 2400 1lb jug.
Willing to pay shipping and a little more if needed for gas to post office.

Prolly breaking down a larger jug and doesn’t like painters tape and a sharpie.

Well I have a question. Just because it’s empty, it still has all the labels on it. Might it still be considered hazardous and require hazmat shipping? Now I know it’s not the same, you know it’s not the same, Doesn’t really matter what we think. The big question is what does the ATF think! I know I certainly wouldn’t wanna get in serious trouble for shipping to somebody some empty bottles!

You’re sure of that because? I know of plenty of empty hazardous Containers that are still considered hazardous even though they are empty. Don’t get me wrong I’m not doubting you. I just want to know how do you know definitively. I mean it’s no big deal I’m just curious

im not the guy wanting to buy them. I seriously doubt they would or will be repacked with the intent to ship.

    Whiterabbit & triggerhappy243 are correct.
Repacking a larger jug, easier to work with. And they are perfectly legal to ship empty.

Just remember to write the lot number from the 8 pound jug on the 1 pound jugs.

Not an ATF thing, a DOT thing. DOT is, in this case, concerned with the contents and not the containers. There is plenty of info if you study up on hazmat shipping, but the short version is that empty powder containers are not.

Lot numbers don’t mean anything to me. I’ve finished using many jugs in the middle of loading a batch and just opened up another jug and continued loading. Never noticed any problems or differences.
