    Redneck Gold ingot mold order is happening now!

    Hi All,

    Ingot molds are coming back. It will take some time to get the order in and ship them to me, but they are coming!

    On post 34 & 37 of the original thread "Lakehouse if you do a re design maybe add Sn Sb and Pb" to which you respond "... if I sell out of these and do another order, I will add different detail to the molds. This was my first try and it works ok, but can be optimized.... " Have you redesigned the mold?

    I spent $5000 in tooling for both of these mold variations. It's not feasible in todays inflated financial climate to justify spending more in tooling (even just for inserts) that would drive the piece cost to nearly double from what it is now. With regard to the change, the information is all there now and while pure indications would help some, they would confuse many others. Realizing I was never going to bat 1000 with the design, I chose to control costs by not changing.
