    Unknown .44 loooong

Its in my humble cartridge collection but I don't have a clue what it is. Sits next to .45 acp.

    Rim diameter: .570"
    head diameter: .489"
    case length: 1.412"
    bullet diameter: .430"

The rounded rim remind me of a 303 british but its not even close in diameter. I was looking for a 11 mm rimmed straight cartridge but I'm stumped.

    .45-70 rim diameter is .603"
and head diameter is .403" so that's not it.

Maybe you can find something here

Boolit appears too small for the maynard.

That chart is extremely interesting and makes searching very easy. But I didn't find anything even close to the several dimensions of this unknown cartridge.
