The good news is the supplier is finally giving me a quote to purchase molds! The downside is the costs have increased.

Molds are $30/each.

Just curious and I don't mean this to sound disrespectful, but will these come from the same supplier that was supposed to supply the last batch that was expected some months ago but never arrived? I'm definitely interested, but don't want to throw money at something that has no definite delivery due to circumstances beyond your control.

No disrespect taken, its a great question.

For clarity, there is only one supplier in the world. Several years ago I laid out $1000's to have die cast tooling made for each of the two molds. This company has those dies. Last year when I went back to them for another order, there was a salesmen there that was "less than desirable". I was trying to go-fast with payment and delivery schedule and asked if I could use PP. He said he had a way to do it. To be clear, previous process is old fashioned wire-transfer. Turns out the saleman was a scumbag. It took me 7 months but I did eventually get my money (mine personally) back.

I've now rectified the issues, and I'm as confident as one can be, talking with the manager and her manager, that they are going to make this next order work correctly.

Is this a guarantee, no. But I've ordered and received mold orders from this company successfully 3 previous times and they are promising me that this future order will be like the successful orders.

For anyone on the fence about these.

These are fantastic molds that hold up well. Had mine since the first run of CB molds and absolutely love them and Lakehouse is a standup guy who you can trust to get it done. He’s even secured molds for friends of mine just getting into casting when they couldn’t join the forum (user error on their part).
